About Us
Family Car Rental was established in 2005 by Joe Rash. He opened his first location in Forest City, North Carolina. After being in business for thirteen years, Joe and his family decided to open a second store in Shelby, North Carolina. Michael Rash, Joe's son, became the COO shortly after. With business rapidly expanding, Family Car Rental has opened new stores in Gaffney, Spartanburg, and Gastonia. The team is constantly growing and more locations are still to come!

I started Family Car Rental in order to serve our local community. I noticed that other rental companies offered poor service and lacked knowledge of our area.
